Responsibilities:
- Assist with validation and verification of BMS applications with all levels of testing as needed.
- Learn the FBPS software calibration and tailoring process by reviewing deparment guidelines and processs, understanding the artifact workflow, and working to maintain those guidelines and workflow by participating in code reviews.
- Adhere to software engineering processes to support an efficient, effective, and high quality Battery Management System.
Sample Projects (Short and Long Term Assignments):
- Automate the release process of tailored BMS Release Packages for multiple customers & configurations (Python, Vector vCDM Studio, Command Line Interfaces, Vector ASAP2)JOB IS FROM: nursingjobs.siteVIEW
- Create a first responders process and tool kit for on-site issue investigation (Troubleshooting, data collection, process development, harness building, etc)
- High Voltage Lab Validation and Verification Testing of Tailored BMS systems
- Trips to the customer site to support commissioning / debugging activities
Qualifications:
- Should be a 3rd or 4th Year undergrad or graduate student in accredited university in USA with a GPA above 2.5
- Must be able to work without work authorization sponsorship.
- Must be able to work on site without any accommodation and transportation assistance.
- Basic understanding of programming; one or more of C, C++, Python, Assembly, etc.
- Exposure to MATLAB / Simulink / StateFlow
- Understanding of circuit board schematics and wiring harness drawings. Soldering and wire harness building experience is preferred
- Comfortable around basic lab equipment (oscilloscopes, thermal chambers, meters, etc.)
- Entry level understanding of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
- Must be enrolled in and working towards a degree in Computer / Electrical / Systems Engineering
