Job Description:
Wages: $37.03-$54.54, based on experience. PLUS $3/hr for every hour worked and shift differential of $1.50-$2.50/hr
Under limited supervision, will assign, direct and monitor the work of Staff Care Technicians, LPN's & RN''s for the purpose of providing quality care of our members. Provide oversight on staff performance that may include audits, performance, counseling and education as needed. Available to nursing staff, members, supervisors and families for consultation and direction. Will ensure member care is delivered to meet State & Federal regulations. Receive member information from 24 hour report and incorporate that information into the work assignments given to nursing staff. Plan and manage appropriate quality and quantity of staff on assigned unit/facility. Accountable for communication of policies & procedures and performance expectations and outcomes. Regular feedback and ongoing performance reviews. Report and/or communicate events to appropriate nurse manager in a timely and accurate manner. Knowledge base of policy and procedures including but not limited to abuse and neglect, emergency procedures and care guidelines.
Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: A current license to practice as Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Registered nurse in Nebraska and one year of relevant experience.
Nurse Supervisor must have the ability to work under pressure and make sound judgements to ensure member and employee safety. Must have excellent critical thinking and clinical skills. Must be able to prioritize and problem solve with minimal supervision. Ability to interact and build positive working relationships with members, families and staff. Exhibit professional demeanor, role model to staff, able to coach staff and ability to provide constructive feedback.
