The Campbell’s Company, a leading manufacturer of snacks, soups and simple meals, and beverages is hiring a summer intern in our Government Affairs department.  The successful candidate will be a rising junior majoring in political science, government or public policy. The paid, ten-week internship begins on or after May 19,2025  

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Monitor pending legislation and regulations
  • Write policy summaries
  • Develop and execute communication plans
  • Compile contact lists
  • Create or update databases
  • Assist with filing, records management and other projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Political science, government or public policy major, preferred
  • Working knowledge of state and federal legislative process 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire to develop strategic communication skills
  • Interest in interaction between government and business
  • Ability to work independently and know when to ask questions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be a current undergraduate student returning to school in the fall
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship or assistance from the company
