Job Description:
This position will provide a student intern with the opportunity to learn and practice the administrative functions associated with business, primarily focused on Facilities Management, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Call Centers. You will work with senior team members and take part in day-to-day activities across all business lines.
This is a temporary position estimated to last one year from hire date.
Examples of Work
Research and collect information about how business and IT functions work
Assist with special projects, which could include such things as space planning, and the roll-out of computer equipment, among others.
Partner with Facilities to coordinate maintenance projects with internal business partners and external vendors.
Assist HR with such duties as recruiting and hiring. Assist with talent acquisition process by conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.

Assist with process improvement, including automating manual processes and partnering with IT to convert to web-based applications. Accurately enter data into electronic systems and databases.
Assist Procurement with such duties as ordering and receiving equipment and supplies, coordinating with vendors, and tracking deliveries.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency. OR Experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Accounting/Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics or other business-related fields. Strong interest in the administrative functions of business.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and team members.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
