MECOP Summer Intern - ITOT Projects and Compliance Team (roche)
Job Description
This position is in the IT OT department at the Hillsboro campus. In this position, you will need to work effectively as part of a team responsible for ensuring successful and efficient support of the HTO and HIT facilities in Hillsboro.
This internship position is located in Hillsboro, Oregon and is onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Assist ITOT team in implementing basic project management practices to execute, monitor and control projects.
Assist and/or shadow ITOT Cybersecurity projects or day-to-day operational activities related to network security changes and issues.
Assist and/or shadow the ITOT Compliance and Validation team in monitoring ServiceNow compliance elements, compiling Monthly compliance metrics, and/or executing compliance or validation related activities.
On a regular basis analyze processes, make suggestions for improvement to management, & provide input to improving systems/processes.
Foster an environment that encourages continuous learning. Maintain expertise as necessary to stay abreast of technical and industry advancements.
Demonstrated capability of applying a broad scope of regulatory policies, guidelines & requirements applicable to assigned areas and suggesting improvements.
Represents group on cross functional teams or projects of limited scope
Program Highlights
Intensive 6 months, full time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in the Summer.
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are (Required)
Required Education: You meet one of the following criteria:
Pursuing a BS/MS in Information Systems or related field/experience
Required skills:
Basic knowledge of systems infrastructure, SDLC, cybersecurity, and/or project management.
Real-world problem solving experience
Professional level written and oral communication skills.
Key to this position is the demonstrated ability to provide technical input and teamwork in a cGMP environment across functional and organizational boundaries
