Bring transformational nursing leadership to NewYork-Presbyterian as the Director of Nursing of the Endoscopy Suites across multiple NYP sites. In this highly visible role, you will play a key role in maintaining an environment that fosters shared governance and performance at the highest level while designing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with evidence-based policies, practices and quality initiatives. Director of Nursing – RN – Endoscopy - Days   

As the Director of Nursing, you will directly contribute to and provide the leadership to ensure optimal patient outcome, financial performance, and efficient operations of the endoscopy suites. You will drive the delivery of our patient-focused nursing and ancillary staff, monitor quality metrics, deliver expert data analysis, build effective actions plans, recognize potential for error and make evidence-based recommendations while building a just culture that supports continuous learning and improvement. Collaborate with numerous councils and cross-campus leaders in all disciplines across NewYork-Presbyterian to promote outcomes-driven reliability, while inspiring excellence. This is a full-time position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center with travel to multiple NYP sites.
 

Required Criteria

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license

• A minimum of five years experience in Perioperative or Endoscopy services

• Demonstrated management and leadership skills

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
