JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures greater than 90% compliance with Long-Term Care Hospital Submissions for all admissions, discharges, & expired inpatients by submitting to Center for Medicare and Medicaid Website within the allowed timeframes.
- Maintains the Long-Term Care Hospital Incomplete Flowsheets for all disciplines.
- Submits modifications to Center for Medicare and Medicaid via website for all disciplines.
- Performs audits as assigned & ensures consistent application of audit materials.
- Provides clinical knowledge & perspectives to QOM.
- Participates in Joint Commission & CARF visits as indicated.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
REQUIRED MINIMUM CERTIFICATION
- CRRN preferred
REQUIRED LICENSURE
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience is essential to be able to conceptualize the concepts of ensuring and improving performance
- Auditing experience
- Rehabilitation clinical knowledge is essential for this position
- Working knowledge of patient diagnosis, procedures, equipment, and documentation standards is essential.
- Must have effective written and oral communication skills.
REQUIRED MINIMUM SKILLS
- Personal computer experience required.
- Expertise in the following software preferred: Outlook, Word, Excel, Epic and medical terminology.
