This position will work within our Measurement & Control group and alongside our full-time automation engineers in designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining company automated and electrical equipment.
**During your internship with Enbridge, you may be eligible to receive a lump sum relocation stipend.
What You Will Do:
Wiring and building electrical panels
Programming new automated equipment
Creating electrical AutoCAD drawings
Witnessing commissioning of electrical and automated equipment
Troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and remote terminal units (RTUs)
In this job, you will also gain experience with and exposure to:
Gas measurement and regulation equipment
LNG Plant Operations
Odorization Units
Gas Quality/Analysis
Who You Are:
Must be in process of obtaining a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must have a graduation date of 2027 OR 2026.
Physical Requirements:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
Mental Requirements:
Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
