- Attend seminars held by various departments within the park, including Culinary Operations, Design & Engineering, Entertainment, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Merchandise, and Park Operations as well as visiting Professors.View Orignal JOB on: nursingjobs.site
- Park tours with members of your leadership team
- Planned meeting sessions with members of the park’s leadership team
- Complete a Team project where groups of Interns will work on a real-world business case and present their findings and recommendations directly to Senior Leadership.
- Interns will have the experience of front-line involvement, overseeing a team of employees and providing guidance and direction to their team as they interact with thousands of guests daily
Daily Responsibilities:
Help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go. You’ll model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with.
Get ready to help us show our best right when guests first show up! You will supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors and perform the job duties you’re supervising in Guest Arrival areas such as:
- Parking Lot
- Ticketing
- Turnstiles
- Reservation Check-In Area
- Track labor, including daily scheduling and break management
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
- Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
- Create and maintain team rotation grid
- Respond to guest and team member needs
- Report project status to Supervisors and Managers
- Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedure
What it takes to succeed:
- Must be currently pursuing a college degree
- Commit to working through the 2025 peak operating season (mid May– mid August)
- Flexible availability (schedules include nights, weekend and holidays). Must be able to work on Tuesday's.
- Excellent human relations and communication skills
- Previous leadership or theme park experience is a plus
- At least 18 years old
- Valid state driver’s license
- Ability to be certified on all attractions
- Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
- Computer proficiency with MS Office
- Comfortable working outdoors, around water and at heights up to 350 ft.
- Previous cash handling experience and ability to work multiple selling systems
- Ability to train on and use protective gear
