James | Pharmacy AdministrationThis position functions to assist the drug information pharmacists within the Center for Drug Policy to provide detailed medical information, assist with drug formulary maintenance, and upkeep of various guidelines and documents for the Department of Pharmacy. Interns will: assist with preparation of documents for Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees to review formulary change requests and new drug additions; develop reference materials and guidance documents for internal pharmacy use; assist with routine reviews and/or updates to pharmacy policies and clinical guidelines; data analysis and reporting; support pharmacy drug shortage mitigation and product tracking efforts; and research drug information requests. This position is also responsible for supporting quality initiatives of the Center for Drug Policy and other preceptors including regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and auditing.
