POSITION: Public Health Nurse II – Immunizations – Part Time – No Benefits
*May underfill as Public Health Nurse I – Immunizations – Part Time – No Benefits
This is a Part Time position and does not include benefits. Preference may be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish.

Those applicants meeting the specified qualification and additional screening criteria will be referred for a hiring interview. The Human Resource Office will continue to consider qualified candidates as needed until the position is filled.
The Opportunity:
This is a position for a Registered Nurse working with immunizations in Provo and at satellite clinics throughout Utah County. This position operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard medical and office equipment. Work may expose the incumbent to contagious or infectious diseases; therefore, certain immunizations are required.
Starting Pay:
Public Health Nurse II - $32.14 - $36.96 per hour
Public Health Nurse I - $29.99 - $34.49 per hour
Salary will be determined upon experience and or education
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Duties and Abilities include:
• Administering Immunizations;
• Counseling for Immunizations;
• Blood draws;
• Metabolic Screening tests;
• Compliance with HIPAA regulations;
• Communicating effectively and professionally;
• Entering data or searching for patient records in electronic medical records;
• Maintaining positive working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the general public;
• Working in off-site clinics as assigned; and
• Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: Public Health Nurse II – Part Time - No Benefits
1. Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
OR
2. Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of work experience as a registered nurse.
Job Qualifications: Public Health Nurse I – Part Time - No Benefits
1. Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a current registered nursing license for the State of Utah Applicants must possess a valid Utah driver’s license or obtain a valid State of Utah driver’s license within sixty (60) days of employment. The selected applicant will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
If the position you are applying for is hazardous in nature, including but not limited to working with or around heavy equipment or hazardous material, employee must be 18 years or older.
