To assist Furniture, Fixture, and Equipment (FF&E) Project Managers with various tasks related to furniture and equipment with management, including planning, procurement, and installation.Job Description:
Description of Duties and Tasks
The FF&E Intern will contribute to a variety projects to support CPC current initiatives, including:
Assisting in furniture and equipment selection, specification, procurement, and warranty processes
Reviewing and organizing FF&E documentation, including specifications, drawings, and vendor quotes
Conducting inventory assessments and updating FF&E records
Coordinating with vendors for product samples, pricing, and delivery timelinesJOB IS FROM: nursingjobs.siteVIEW
Assisting in space planning and layout development using design software.
Supporting project coordination efforts, including scheduling installations, developing punch lists, and tracking orders.
Assisting in preparing reports, presentations, and budget analyses related to FF&E projects
Conduct field verifications, including measurements and photos.
Create furniture plans for existing spaces.
An FF&E Intern may also be asked to collaborate with other Interns and construction project managers on work. Other duties may be assigned as departmental needs arise.
Knowledge
Must possess required knowledge and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
Possess a basic understanding of interior design concepts, including space planning, material selection, and furniture specifications.
Basic knowledge of reading architectural drawings
Understand the various stages of a design project, from conceptual development and schematic design to construction documentation and project execution.
Familiarity with contract furniture manufacturers
Have basic knowledge of construction principles, such as building codes, structural considerations, and installation requirements.

Required Education
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in interior design, or a recent graduate.
Physical Requirements
Work is routinely performed in an office environment.
Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.
