Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Position Requirements
Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
Board Certified
Experience in Cardiology is preferred
Position Details
Option of a 5 day or 4 day per weekly schedule
Rotating call with 4 weekends per year required.
Main position will be based in Carbondale with outpatient clinic as well as inpatient round.
Outreach to Marion, IL clinic will be required.

Education Qualifications
- Master’s degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of practice is required.
- Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Physician Assistant Certification is required.
- DEA license is preferred.

Pay Range:
$54.45 - $78.59A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
