HSHS St Elizabeth’s Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Specialist Technician to join our ministry. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven individuals who performs a variety of tasks according to policies and procedures. Ideal candidates would also have accomplished performing mathematical calculations, possess knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology along with an understanding of the pharmacy dispensing responsibilities necessary to comply with state and federal regulations.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates in healthcare, business or related field is preferred.
• Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) recognized Educational School/Training Program is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 3 years pharmacy experience is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed or registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire OR enrolled in a Doctorate of Pharmacy program is required. May work in a license pending status for up to 60 days.

Pay Range:

$19.00 - $27.55
