Your New Role!
In this exciting role you will play a vital part in delivering innovative and professional healthcare services that enhance the student journey and promote the well-being of the wider university community. As a Nurse within our dedicated team, you will provide high quality primary healthcare. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaning impact, supporting students and staff while working in a dynamic, supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Your key responsibilities will include –
Provide health advice and health education services.
Provide emergency triage, assessment and management.
Perform cleaning/maintenance of all clinical areas and equipment.
Maintain awareness of current and new legislation to ensure compliance.
Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures of the university.

This Fixed Term (11 Months) | Part time (15 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $95K – $113K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

Selection Criteria:
AHPRA Registration, unrestricted as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, along with at least five years of post-qualification experience.
Proven ability to excel in non-hospital settings or general practice environments.
Strong problem-solving skills in clinical settings.
Experience in emergency triage, phlebotomy, and immunisations.
Competence in using diagnostic equipment, including ECG machines and defibrillators.
Please note, the successful candidate will be required to have a valid working with children check or the ability to register for one in accordance with the University's Criminal Record Screening Procedure and Employee Background Checks Procedure.
