Job Description
A nursing clinical instructor plays a crucial role in the education and training of nursing students. Their primary responsibility is to facilitate the clinical learning experiences of nursing students and ensure that they develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to become competent and safe nurses. Responsibilities include educating, evaluating, supervising, mentoring, and professional role modeling.
Requirements to teach a clinical course include a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing, a minimum of two years’ relevant professional nursing experience, and a current Massachusetts RN license.
Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
Start dates: May, September, and January.
Seeking applicants with significant career accomplishments within subject area and college teaching experience in a large, diverse, higher education institution.
