Role and Responsibilities

In this exciting opportunity with Home Entertainment Integrated Marketing, you'll work with our social team to build awareness and consideration for Samsung TV, audio and memory innovations to drive sales in the US. You’ll gain hands-on experience crafting compelling narratives, identifying top-tier creators, negotiating collaborations, and measuring campaign success. Our ideal candidate possesses strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and an aptitude for storytelling through diverse mediums. The candidate must have a working knowledge of YouTube and Reddit platform product offerings.

Key projects will include helping Samsung expand and optimize its YouTube content and influencer strategy and expand its presence on Reddit via both influencer and organic contributions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify relevant subreddits and YouTube influencers aligned with company goals

• Build relationships and content strategies with prominent Redditors and YouTubers who align with our values

• Work with team to develop pitches and negotiate partnership agreements with selected influencers

• Coordinate cross-platform promotions featuring creator-generated content

• Post content and use SEO keywords intentionally and optimize content that is under-performing

• Create description copy for all YouTube assets

• Track KPIs such as impressions, engagements, conversions, and ROI

• Analyze competitor activity on Reddit and YouTube to inform strategy adjustments

• Contribute fresh ideas for viral-worthy initiatives that resonate with Gen Z/Millennials

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic Major Preferred (Undergrad and Masters) Marketing preferred. Also acceptable: Communications / PR, Business

• Project Management: project design, planning, reporting

• Marketing:  YouTube and Reddit posting, competitive analysis, social media analytics

• Experience working with popular social media management tools and influencer tracking tools

• Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to social media optimization

• Understanding of paid advertising options available on various platforms

• Knowledge of Reddit and YouTube platforms and ability to navigate the platforms 

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and audiences, including YouTube and Reddit

• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while meeting deadlines

• Passion for all things social media.
