Job Summary
Schedule: 36hrs per week NIGHTS; 9hr or 12hr shifts based on the needs of the departmentWhy YOU should be our next Med/Surg RN on 6 South:

37 private bed medicine/telemetry teaching unit
Will see a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions (asthma, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, HTN, PE, sepsis – to name a few)
Exposure to the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic and CVM (Constant Monitoring System)

Qualifications
- BSN required
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
- BLS and ACLS required
- PACU experience strongly preferred
- Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred
- ASPAN membership and CPAN/CAPA certification preferred
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
- Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
- Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
