We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Community Engagement and Program Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in coordinating the services and activities within our cancer center, with a strong focus on community engagement, survivorship care, and program management. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you’ll be expected to support patients, staff, and programs while fostering connections within the community.-Flexible PRN schedule

Summary
Coordinates the program services activities within the service area of responsibility to ensure accurate and prompt service.Job Description
Helps to develop, implement, and coordinate various aspects of the cancer survivorship program. Coordinates and develops better models of whole person care. Focuses on the quality of life and patient experience. Clinical responsibilities include developing treatment summaries and care plans as required by accrediting agencies. Program responsibilities include organizing annual retreats for all cancer patients. Manages social media sites for the enterprise and creates content for the website. Manages the virtual support group and healing arts programs. Manages an education series that occurs both in person and via teleconference. Manages the mentorship program and trains patients to become mentors. Works with fundraising and grant writing. Works closely with palliative care and survivorship nurse navigator. Creates brochures and education materials while working closely with the marketing team. Collaborates with research team on survivorship related research protocols. Establishes working relationships and collaborates with all local support groups as well as internal support groups. Responsible for the development and maintenance of cancer survivorship program.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or healthcare related field or equivalent work experience is required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Previous experience providing excellent customer service in a prompt and professional manner is required.
