Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Intern to support our benefits team. This internship provides hands-on experience in benefits administration, compliance, and data management. You’ll play a key role in processing benefits data, auditing reports, and assisting with leave of absence processing.Compensation Range:$20.00 - $25.00 HourlyWhat You Will Do:
Process benefits elections data in HHA Exchange and Paypro systems, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
View Orignal JOB on: nursingjobs.siteReview ACA reports to verify that eligible employees enrolled in benefits, ensuring proper recording with the ACA vendor for 1099 processing.
Assist in managing Leave of Absence (LOA) requests for Home Health Aides, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the benefits team to improve processes and enhance employee experience.
Perform additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Current enrollment in college or graduate school with a minimum of one year of college completed required
Experience:
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience with HR systems or benefits administration is a plus but not required.
