What You Will Do
•Work under the guidance of a trained mentor, while you observe, and participate in, a wide range of assignments related to your designated role and work area
•Gain valuable, practical skills related to aerospace parts manufacturing
•Working hours are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, 2 days / week
•Interns will become employees of Pratt & Whitney for the duration of their Internship
•This internships are located at the East Hartford, CT location, in the Turbine Module Center or in the Repair Operations Facility
Qualifications You Must Have
•High School Diploma
•Availability to work part-time for eight consecutive weeks starting the week of March 24.
•Enrolled in a Manufacturing Certificate Program to be completed within program timeframe
•Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
•This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
