St Luke’s interns support the network by using their knowledge and talents to bring new ideas, creative solutions and technical skills to a variety of projects and task assignments.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in collaboration with internal content experts to develop online educational programs using Articulate, Captivate, and other e-learning authoring software.
Utilize multimedia design software to develop instructional assets (e.g., visual aids, infographics), videos, and animations to support curriculum offerings.
Communicate frequently and effectively with various project collaborators and supervisor to ensure that goals and objectives are being fulfilled.
Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information.
Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.
Demonstrates/models the Network’s Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external) Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety.
Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes, and practices.
Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.

Other related duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Requires sitting for up to 8 hours per day, 2 hours at a time. Standing for up to 4 hours per day, 3 hours at a time. Requires occasional fingering, handling, and twisting and turning while entering data into the computer. Occasionally requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Occasionally requires reaching above shoulder level. Must have the ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general, peripheral, and near vision, visual monotony. Must be able to perceive attributes of an object through touch. Must be able to hear as it relates to normal conversation, and high and low frequencies. Must be able to see as it relates to general, near, far, color and peripheral vision.
EDUCATION:
Currently matriculated in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Instructional Design.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Completed twelve credits in online course design, instructional design, and/or multimedia productions, graphics design, or e-learning content development. Experience with graphic design applications (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), e-learning authoring software (e.g., Articulate or Captivate), and MS Office.
