Cleveland Clinic hopes to prepare the next generation of caregivers to join the healthcare workforce through real-world experiences and program management. As an Intern, you will work the IT Service Desk to support staff and patients in performing necessary tasks and accessing MyChart. During your internship, you can expect to use your knowledge and skills to engage in unfamiliar tasks and activities, understand project management and develop best practices.
A caregiver in this position works from 8:00AM – 5:00PM and 7:00AM – 4:00PM, with initial training conducted onsite at the Beachwood Administrative Campus.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Research, compile, tabulate and analyze data and processes for various administrative and departmental matters.
- Assist department personnel in assigned administrative, planning, organizational, technical and professional tasks.
- Provide suggestions or recommendations about department specific projects.
- Prepare and present reports, draft policies and procedures and respond to requests for information.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Current college enrollment
- Ability to weigh pros/cons, separate critical issues, make definitive choices, express opinions on issues and explain logical path decisions

Physical Requirements:
- Full range of body motion for handling/lifting items, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination
- Frequent standing and sitting
- Corrected vision and hearing to normal range
