Unit Information:

Riverton Mom Baby is a 28 bed unit that cares for mothers and newborns after delivery.  Our RNs generally care for 3-4 couplets (a mom and a baby), and our PCTs generally care for 8 couplets.  On occasion, we have hysterectomy surgical patients on our unit as well.  We have an outstanding work environment where we help each other in patient care to make sure best practices are utilized and safety is a priority.  Because of our location, and as a community hospital, we are experiencing growth in all the best ways.  Our NICU cares for newborns as early as 32 weeks gestation and we have an in house laborist and anesthesiologist 24/7.  All of our caregivers are trained in lactation.  We also have a lactation team on our unit to provided specialized care when needed.  In patient reviews, they say things like “This was the best hospital to have a baby!”  “We felt so cared for by the mom baby staff and all of our needs were met.”  “We are so grateful for the employees at Riverton hospital.  They made our birthing experience the best!”  Come and join our team.
