Scheduled Weekly Hours:

Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our Imaging/Radiology department.  This is your opportunity to work in a highly autonomous and patient-facing role while doing the work you love in the beautiful coulee region of La Crosse, Wisconsin.

What you will do:

• Fulfill 72 hours every two weeks; 0.9 FTE
• Work 8-hour day shifts, varying between 0700-1700, Monday through Friday with rotating days off. No weekends, holidays, or call obligations!
• As one of four RNs in this department, you will primarily assist with CT and MRI modalities
• Perform vascular access: start peripheral IVs and access power ports and PICCs
• Prepare patients for imaging exams, complete MRI safety questionnaires with patients, administer medications and fluid, provide patient education, telephone triage, and more
• Work inside of our beautiful Legacy building on the 1st floor on our La Crosse campus, while providing LOVE + MEDICINE to approximately 15-20 patients per day

What you need:

• Minimum of associate degree in nursing
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
• Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider CPR
