Job Description:
Ipsen is a leading global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to improving lives through innovative medicines in Oncology, Rare Disease, and Neuroscience. We are seeking undergraduate students for our summer internship program, based in our North American Headquarters in Cambridge, MA.
The summer internship program is a structured 11-week experience over the summer and is an excellent opportunity for students to gain broad and meaningful work experiences that will prepare them for a successful career in the biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry.
This internship is part of the Neuroscience Business Unit which includes our Dysport product.
Main Responsibilities & Job Expectations
Dysport Brand Planning
- Assessment of competitor tactics/messaging, particularly across digital channel
- Evaluation of potential tactics for Dysport to utilize
- Assessment of 2025 activities to date, including synthesis of personal and non-personal healthcare professional (HCP) tactics
- Assessment and recommendations of new programs to consider
- Evaluate and develop HCP injection training initiatives, as needed, and collaborate with agency partners and thought leaders to create training materials
- Develop an understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry today as well as the challenges and opportunities that will drive the future of Ipsen
- Rising senior pursuing a BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or related field
- A 3.0 GPA is the minimum requirement.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytical approach to solving problems with ability to influence and negotiate
- Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask and prioritize workloads
- Previous working experience or desire to work in a best-in-class financial environment.
- Proactive with a can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Ideal candidates can communicate effectively, learn quickly, take ownership of their work to deliver results.
- Able to work onsite 2-3 days per week for the full duration of the 11-week program
