Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) and secondary skills in Snowflake, Hive, and Python. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data warehousing concepts, ETL development, and cloud-based data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries in Oracle databases.
• Implement data warehousing solutions using Snowflake, Hive, and Python.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues related to SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable data solutions.
• Work with cloud-based data platforms to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and governance in all data solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, query optimization, SnowSQL).
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Hive and other big data technologies is a plus.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL frameworks.
• Experience working with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Apache Nifi, or similar).
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques in Oracle and Snowflake.
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
• Prior experience in financial services, healthcare, or e-commerce domains is a plus.
Salary Range - $80000 to $125000 a year
