The Institutional Client Group (ICG) for Debt manages the Bank's relationships with institutional investors across the full Debt product spectrum. ICG Debt combines the global capabilities of Deutsche Bank with regional expertise on five continents.
With leading market shares in nearly every product, the success relies on factors such as anticipating the impact of market and regulatory changes to clients’ business, developing the latest eCommerce and Clearing platforms, and leveraging the Bank’s product, research and structuring expertise to offer tailor-made solutions which are customized to meet the specific requirements of each individual client.
The Sales Specialist works with the Lead Salesperson to meet agreed sales and revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Generate detailed client/product knowledge, market knowledge and cultivate client relationships in order to generate sales opportunities.
- Work to develop deep understanding of the client need/product detail and Bank’s capabilities with the aim of meeting client satisfaction expectations.
- Be conversant relevant legal, regulatory and Bank policy requirements and operate accordingly.
- Ensure together with the Lead Salesperson liaison with existing clients. Researching and fostering new client opportunities.
- Build the necessary working relationships with origination, trading, research, client services, and operations staff – if applicable & to the degree that is commensurate with the business area - to ensure effective end to end client / product delivery.
Skills
- 5 years experience as FX Sales covering Institutional Clients with a strong Focus on the Italian Market for at least 3 years.
- Proficient knowledge of Italian and English.
- Degree in Economics and strong knowledge of complex FX Derivatives.
- Strong knowledge of FX E trading Platform.
