St Vincent's Private Werribee is a not-for-profit, private Catholic hospital.  We provide patients with the highest quality healthcare, modern facilities and the latest technology. St Vincent's Private Hospital Werribee is the fourth hospital to open under the umbrella of St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne, a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries.

The Services available in our private hospital include orthopaedic, cardiology, ear nose and throat, plastic and reconstructive surgery, urology, gynaecology, general surgery, vascular, rehabilitation and oncology/infusions.  Facilities include operating theatres, a day procedure unit, oncology/infusion unit, a cardiac catheter laboratory and a rehabilitation gymnasium. 

The Catheter Laboratory at St Vincent's Private Hospital Werribee is seeking a highly motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) with expert clinical skills in caring for the cardiovascular patient to join our leadership team. We currently have a position open to part time or full time applicants..

ABOUT YOU:

The successful applicant will be responsible for;

  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in the Cath Lab
  • Participating in team nursing for patients admitted to the Cath lab or post procedure in PACU

It is essential that the successful applicant has the following;

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Nursing
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Cardiovascular Nursing or working towards same
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office products.
  • Proficiency in email software and electronic communication.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in managing acute situations in a rapidly changing environment
  • Willingness to undertake further studies or to pursue other self-development activities.
