Job Description

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct delivery of patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs initial and on-going physical and psychosocial assessment according to accepted standards of nursing practice. (30%)
  • Participates in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives and interventions appropriate to the age-related and problem-specific needs of each patient. (10%)
  • Implements the nursing process to delegate, provide and coordinate patient care according to the interdisciplinary plan of care. (30%)
  • Facilitates and/or co-leads individual and group therapy sessions for patients. (15%)
  • Evaluates patient's response to interventions and revises nursing plan of care as needed. (15%)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • Current PA licensure as an RN
  • CPR – American Heart Association
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
