Position Summary: Provides professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in an office and peri-procedural (in-clinic) environment. The Registered Nurse provides care consistent with the standards of professional nursing. Provides leadership, supervision, education, and scheduling support to other healthcare workers as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists physicians with patient care during office procedures: LEEPs, cryotherapy, colposcopies, biopsies, hysteroscopies, NST's
• Provides phone triage of OB/GYN concerns/conditions and referrals and notifies patients of results
• Schedules surgeries, procedures, and outpatient appointments
• Determines staffing needs, staff scheduling, provider call schedule and appropriate assignments
• Evaluates staff performance on a formal and informal basis
• Tests and evaluates new equipment, procedures. and programs
• Develops section policies, procedures, and standards
• Collaborates with building services, biomedical engineering department, laboratory services as it relates to in-suite management
• Provides orientation, training, and ongoing education of staff members
• Orders equipment, devices, supplies, and general office materials
• Travels between two locations: Orland and New Lenox

Requirements:

• Registered RN in Illinois
• BLS
• 2+ years of RN experience within area of practice required
