Job Description
We are looking for experienced operating room nurse who work well under pressure and embrace the unexpected. We are seeking nursing professionals that are passionate about their practice, adaptable, and eager to learn and drive continuous improvement. We are looking for confident nurses who can be the patient’s advocate and speak up when needed.
This position takes call. The call response time is 30 minutes. Has work commitment that is at minimum 6 shifts within a 6 week period. Must work 2 weekend shifts within 6 weeks 2 minor holidays or 1 major holiday.JOB IS FROM: nursingjobs.siteVIEW
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to circulate multiple specialties in the OR.
- Circulating nurse is the patient advocate and is responsible for safe and effective patient care.
- Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Delegates tasks appropriately.
- Identifies hospital resources.
- Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
- Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
