Senior Relationship Manager, CIS & Southeastern Europe submarket of the Emerging Europe market at DB Luxembourg, responsible for acquiring new clients, building a book and serving the acquired clients from a Wealth Management and also a broader banking point of view. You are part of a highly dynamic team and play an instrumental role in implementing our strategy to grow the business in the CIS & Southeastern Europe market.
Responsibilities
Develop contacts and build relationships with HNW/UHNW clients, Single/Multi Family for our CIS & Southeastern Europe markets
Grow the business by originating and onboarding new client relationships, as well as developing existing client relationships
Provide leadership and guidance to junior colleagues in day-to-day dealing with existing clients.
Gather individual information about potential clients and prepare calls and meetings to offer private Banking services & products and assess market potential both for existing and prospective clients

Participate in Goal Setting process to ensure that financial goals are achievable and manage annual asset, revenue, and expense budget to ensure that financial targets are met
Keep day-to-day responsibility for advising clients within the required regulatory framework and keeping abreast of all client-impacting initiatives from the respective market
Proactively identifying client lending / financing needs, involving lending specialists to further develop the opportunity from the target market
Ensure an excellent and smooth client on-boarding experience with regard to legal requirements and in close collaboration with the Client Lifecycle Management team and other internal support functions
Uphold the team’s operating rhythm (e.g. regular prospect review, pipeline review, account planning, etc.), leading by example and demonstrating role-model behaviour
Make sure that prospect and client related information are properly filed
Participate in public relations and other marketing activities for existing and new clients by holding presentations and participating in social events
Act within professional, legal and ethical boundaries and guidelines, observing all internal and external compliance regulations and code of ethics and conduct; flagging and managing reputational risks and conflicts issues
Skills & Experience
10 years+ of Financial Services experience in a client acquisition, management and development role
Strong knowledge of relevant financial, cross-border regulation, and sanctions regulations
Ability to work under pressure and ability to adapt to work within the set targets by the management
Commitment to meet net new assets and revenue targets commensurate with Director level
Excellent knowledge of the CIS & Southeastern Europe market and the cultural backgrounds.
Proven track record of successful business from the target market. Solid network of clients in the target coverage market is required
Experience in a global wealth management bank with strong compliance culture
Experience in managing bank processes such as client on-boarding, KYC, etc., as well as related risks
Experience in originating and executing cross-divisional collaboration opportunities with IB and CB.
Experience in working in the investment or corporate bank would be an advantage
Experience working with Israeli market would be a strong advantage
Strong knowledge of financial instruments and markets and knowledge of all Private Banking products and services including the credit policies, guidelines and procedures
Fluency in English, fluency in Russian and Ukrainian would be a strong advantage
Able to work with a culturally diverse workforce and client base and highly developed written and oral communication skills
Strong sales and marketing abilities
Excellent problem solving skills
Complete understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements in marketing the Private Bank’s products and services
Ability to demonstrate good time management skills
The successful candidate will be asked to present a recent criminal record.
