Position Title: RN
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab, Davenport East Campus

32 hours per week, mainly first shift plus call!

Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Cath Lab! As an RN at MercyOne, you will:

• Provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for adult patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
• Key accountabilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice
• Adherence to Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA
• Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities
• During procedures, the nurse will function in one of three roles with distinct competencies applied to each role: circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or recorder

General Requirements:

• Education: Associate's Degree
• Field Of Study: Nursing
• Special Training: ACLS within 6 months; Basic Life Support.
• Training Preferred: One year work experience in Critical Care of Cardiac related field. Previous invasive cardiovascular experience. Baccalaureate in Nursing.
• Licensure/Registration: Registered Nurse in Iowa
• Experience: More than 2 years experience required.
