About the Opportunity:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside is located in Chermside approximately 10km’s from the Brisbane CBD 

As a Clinical Nurse – Stomal Therapy/Wound Management you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated clinical team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for our patients. This is a permanent part time role 16 hours per week (32 per fortnight),.

Things that work for us:

  • Completed Graduate Certificate in Stomal Therapy / Wound Management or, working towards completion of the Graduate Certificate

  • Demonstrate an expert patient-centred consultancy service to a diverse patient population, providing quality care to patients with stomas, wounds & skin integrity issues.

  • Apply advanced Stomal Therapy and Wound Management knowledge and clinical skills to achieve quality and excellence.

  • Work autonomously and as part of the team aligning practice with unit, department and corporate business and strategic goals

  • Assist with the provision of education for staff to maintain currency and proficiency of clinical knowledge within the Specialty.

  • Collaborate and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams internally and externally to ensure optimal patient outcomes promoting best practice
