Description
1. Developing skills to assist Interventional Radiologist or Radiology Assistant during procedure
2. Developing knowledge about utilization of all equipment including emergency equipment, and supplies.
3. Ensures correct patient, diagnosis, and exam. Developing knowledge of correct & acceptable radiographic, positioning, and scrub techniques.
4. Developing ability to explain procedures to patients and families in an effective manner.
5. Developing knowledge of all emergency equipment/supplies.
6. Utilizes proper immobilization devices to control patient movement.
7. Raises concerns related to patient care, patient safety or patient satisfaction to Lead or Supervisor.
8. Maintains equipment and requests service as needed.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
