Scheduled Weekly Hours:
Gundersen Health System has Registered Nurse positions available for our 20-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. This is your opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with patients and families while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region.
What you will work: Variety of hours/shifts available
0.75 FTE; 60 hours per two weeks; 12-hour rotating day (0630-1900) and night (1830 - 0700) shifts; every third weekend; two holidays per year
0.8 FTE; 64 hours per two weeks; 8-hour rotating day (0630-1500) and PM (1430 - 2300) shifts; every other weekend and holiday
0.9 FTE; 72 hours per two weeks; 12-hour rotating day (0630-1900) and night (1830 - 0700) shifts; every third weekend; two holidays per year

What you will do:
Teach nursing techniques to help patients and their families develop the self-care skills necessary to move toward wellness on the illness-wellness continuum. Promote independence through involvement with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Provide LOVE + MEDICINE for a patient population including individuals affected by brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, and debility due to prolonged illness.
Work with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, CNAs, and RNs

What you need:
Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing
RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon
Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
New graduate and experienced RNs are welcome to apply
