Gundersen Health System has Registered Nurse positions available for our 24-bed Surgical and Digestive Care Unit.  This is your opportunity to provide specialized, complex care to patients while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region.

What you will work: Variety of hours/shifts available

  • 0.6 fte; 48 hours every two weeks, rotating 8-hour day and pm shifts, every other weekend and holiday
  • 0.6 fte; 48 hour every two weeks, 8-hour pm shifts, every other weekend and holiday
  • 0.75 fte; 60 hours every two weeks, 12-hour shifts rotating days and night, every third weekend and holiday
  • 0.8 fte; 64 hours every two weeks, rotating 8-hour day and pm shifts, every other weekend and holiday

What you will do:

  • Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our surgical patients and those needing medically managed digestive care (i.e. abdominal, vascular, urology, otolaryngology, trauma, bariatric and plastic surgery patients, and more)JOB IS FROM: nursingjobs.siteVIEW
  • Work with IVs, hyperalimentation, drains, catheters, NG tubes, tracheostomies, ostomies, patient controlled analgesic pumps, epidural catheters, telemetry monitoring, wound vacs and simple or complex dressing changes
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, social workers, dietitians, CNAs, and RNs

What you need:

  • Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing
  • RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
  • New graduate and experienced RNs are welcome to apply
