Job Summary
As a Clinical Content Specialist - Nursing, you will engage in advanced tasks that significantly contribute to our clinical content portfolio. Your expertise will help ensure that our content is comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date. Using your clinical experience, you will inform the synthesis and inclusion of new evidence-based material.
Responsibilities:
- Serving as a liaison between partnering organizations to ensure on-time delivery of evidence-based clinical content.
- Collaborating with the Product Manager, Content Director, and Content Editor to create and manage the content budget.
- Developing clear, concise guidelines for subject matter experts.
- Collaborating with the Content Editor to develop workflow schedules.
- Providing feedback to partnering organizations and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality content delivery.
- Initiating all clinical pre-transmittal workflow steps.
- Reviewing and verifying clinical content to ensure that its evidence based and follows the latest guidelines and standards. Ensuring that all clinical content is accurate, relevant, consistent, and complete. Writing and editing content, as needed.
- Collaborating with the US clinical team to ensure consistency across products.
- Communicating with subject matter experts and other authorities to resolve clinical queries.
- Transmitting content to the Content Editor according to workflow schedule to ensure that content releases are delivered to customers on time.
- Answering editorial queries.
- Managing project components (text, images, videos) at different phases of the workflow over multiple releases simultaneously.
- Assisting with new content and product development under the direction of the Content Director and Product Manager.
- Consulting with the Digital Content Analyst, Digital Experience Group, and other content team members to ensure content editing needs are met in the common content management system.
- Supporting marketing, sales, product management, and other teams as needed to deliver accurate information to customers and to better understand the healthcare industry.
- Answering customer queries and responding to their requests.
- Reporting improvement opportunities, solutions, and progress to the management team.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
About You
- Advanced Clinical Terminology: Depth of knowledge in medical terms and concepts.
- High-Level Data Entry: Managing complex data accurately and efficiently.
- In-Depth Literature Review: Synthesizing detailed scientific literature.
- Robust Quality Assurance: Leading quality checks and ensuring data accuracy.
- Effective Collaboration: Excelling in cross-functional teamwork.
- Advanced Documentation: Creating and refining detailed documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Evaluating data and providing actionable insights.
- Clinical IT Systems: Proficient use of advanced content management software.
- College degree MS in Nursing or BS in Nursing with specialty certification (critical care preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years nursing experience, preferably in the past 5 years; critical care nursing preferred.
