Job Summary

Responsible for leading and overseeing other nursing supervisors, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient team performance. Provides guidance and direction to nursing leaders and staff, fostering a collaborative environment that supports professional development and adherence to clinical standards.

Collaborates with hospital administration and other departments to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement in patient care.

Essential Functions
-Supervises nursing leaders and staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and assigning duties to meet patient care needs.
-Monitors and evaluates nursing practices, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
-Provides leadership during clinical emergencies, making critical decisions to ensure patient safety and quality care.
-Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
-Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, and facilitates professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
-Leads quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
-Ensures accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
-Addresses and resolves any patient or staff concerns, promoting a positive work environment.
-Participates in hospital leadership meetings, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree Nursing required or Master's Degree Nursing preferred or Master's Degree Healthcare Administration preferred

Experience
Nursing experience 3-5 years required and Experience in a leadership or supervisory role 3-5 years required

- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and nursing documentation.
