What You'll Do:
Provide expert pre, during, and post-procedure care for pulmonary patients, with a special focus on IV sedation management.
Perform comprehensive assessments based on each patient’s diagnosis and procedural needs.
Use the nursing process to create and evaluate individualized care plans.
Support patients across various pulmonary services, including procedures in locations like the ICU and GI/Bronchoscopy lab.
Manage care for patients dealing with chronic pulmonary conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, contribute to committees, and engage in program evaluations and research.
Provide education and supervise students to foster the next generation of healthcare providers.
Adhere to the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory standards.
What You Need To Bring:
Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or an equivalent combination of ADN and relevant experience).
Licensure: Current state of Missouri RN license or eligibility for Missouri licensure.
Certifications: Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification and Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a related nursing area, bringing your skills to the forefront.
