Job Title: JR013730 Finance Controlling Intern

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Control Intern to join our Financial Control team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial control and support the controller for one of our Northern European markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in English..

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Controller in monitoring and analyzing financial data for the Northern European market.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly financial closing processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify trends or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.(Must be enrolled in University)
  • Availability for at least 6 months.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Good knowledge in Power BI and Power query.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
