The Team:

Join S&P's Market Data Services team, dedicated to delivering exceptional accuracy, visibility, and efficiency to clients in the Private Capital Markets. As a Data Management Analyst, you will collaborate within a dynamic team to process PCM financial data. Your role will involve extracting financial data, relevant capital structure information, and portfolio performance details from financial documents, and integrating this data into our proprietary software solutions, including iLEVEL, QVAL, and iVAL. Internship will run from June 2 - August 8.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Collaborate with the team to execute data collection and implementation projects.
  • Take ownership of project-based tasks as assigned by senior managers.
  • Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Work closely with clients and members of S&P Global’s Private Capital Markets team across various departments to design, refine, and agree on innovative business processes.
  • Deliver ‘best-in-class’ solutions that consistently exceed client expectations.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

S&P Global anticipates a base salary range of $25 per hour for this position.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Venture Capital and/or Private Equity ecosystem.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business at an accredited college or university.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative setting.
