What the job involves:
We are seeking a passionate designer to work with us in our Houston, TX studio for Summer 2025. The successful candidate will support the design studio across various aspects of our work by creating innovative consumer-driven experiences.

As a Graphic Design/Creative Intern at JLL, you will: 
•    Collaborate with other team members, including designers, project managers, and marketing professionals to ensure design projects meet clients’ expectations
•    Provide design advice and guidance to deal team; taking verbal and written input and apply to graphic illustrations.
•    Design dynamic email blasts, and marketing campaigns.
•    Create design to fit preferences of the deal team and the client, within JLL branding standards
•    Edit InDesign and PowerPoint presentation templates to incorporate feedback from stakeholders or clients
•    Assist with the production of print and digital design materials, including layouts, typography, and image manipulation
•    Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, archiving, and organizing design files.

Education, Skills, and Experience
•    Pursuant or completed Bachelor’s degree in visual communications or graphic design
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Ability to design within branding standards.
•    Ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with others.
•    Well-developed verbal, listening, written and creative design skills.
•    Excellent time management, planning and problem-solving skills.
•    Any knowledge of commercial real estate is a plus
•    Strong portfolio showing a range of skills
•    An interest and understanding of brand standards and style guidelines
•    Ability to communicate concepts and ideas to others
•    Ability to quickly produce high-quality concept sketches and mockups
•    Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) for a Macintosh Operating System
•    Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and ideas to the design team
•    Strong listening skills
•    Ability to excel under pressure
•    Attention to detail and a critical eye for design quality and consistency
