About the role
This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. You will join a team of highly motivated individuals with access to state of the art equipment, education support and professional development opportunities. The position is a Monday to Friday role, however at times, weekend work may be available. This position will play a pivotal role in planning and delivering nursing care to patients in a surgical setting and work as part of the day surgical team. Participation in the on call roster may be required pending your skills and experience.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will be a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team and will have the opportunity to participate in all learning and development activities and be exposed to the latest surgical and medical approaches, new technologies and integrated methods of patient care.
About you:
- Nurse with AHPRA registration (no restrictions)
- Minimum 2 years post graduate experience as a Scrub/Scout Nurse
- Compliance with NMBA Professional Standards.

- Bachelor of Nursing
- Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice.
- Excellent computer literacy and experience with electronic patient record system would be an advantage.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work within the interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care and continued professional development.
