Job Description

Seeking an experienced RN to serve in Essentia's home health department for the Detroit Lakes, Minnesota area. This Registered Nurse works 20 hours weekly. Regular operational times are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations are required.

Education Qualifications:

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.

What You'll Do:

Responsible to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, supervise and coordinate the home care and hospice care (if applicable at location) of patients in accordance with professional standards of nursing and policies and procedures of Essentia Health. Provides direct patient care to patients requiring care for medical, diagnostic and emergency conditions.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Minnesota required upon hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 monthof hire.
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.
• Proof of current motor vehicle insurance.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.
• 5+ years of nursing experience preferred.
