S&P Global Commodity Insights is seeking candidates for a 10-week internship program,
commencing on 3rd June 2025, within our Energy Transition Consulting team.
The Team:
Energy Advisory Services is a leading provider of strategic, market, and technical guidance to energy
companies, investors, and government entities. The Energy Transition Consulting team serves as a
trusted advisor across traditional and emerging energy sectors. Typical engagements include energy
transition strategy, transaction due diligence, emissions reduction roadmaps, supply chain
assessments, and ESG/energy policy advisory.
Impact:
As an intern, your contributions will directly support the team's ability to deliver high-quality
consulting services to clients. You will play a vital role in analyzing data and providing insights that
inform strategic decisions, ultimately helping clients navigate the complexities of energy transition
and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying internal and external information sources, gathering, and synthesizing data.
• Support the development and execution of analytical excel models for consulting projects.
• Work on a project team with other consultants, under the direction of the project manager.
• Participate in client interview / industry conference and extract key takeaways.
• Contribute to preparing client-ready deliverables in PowerPoint and/or Word and present findings
concisely back to the team.
What We’re Looking for:
• Penultimate-year student (graduating in 2026) pursuing engineering, preferably in petroleum,
chemical, environmental, or process fields; candidates with interest in finance, economics, or
business are also welcome.
• Demonstrated interest in the energy and sustainability sector.
• Detail-oriented, numerically proficient, and comfortable interpreting complex documents.
• Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills; able to meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with a professional, mature approach and the ability to engage across levels.
• Curious, analytical, and investigative mindset.
• Proficient in web browsing and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work from the Gurgaon office 3–4 days a week or as required.
