Scheduled Weekly Hours:
32Gundersen Health System is excited to announce an opening for a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) at our rapidly growing Bariatric and Obesity Medicine Clinic in Onalaska, WI. Join a passionate and driven team dedicated to transforming lives through specialized care!
What you will do:
Fulfill 64 hours per two weeks; 0.8 FTE
Enjoy 8-hour day shifts between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties
Guide patients through their obesity care journey, both surgical and non-surgical
Serve as nursing expert on multidisciplinary team and collaborate regularly with numerous departments across the organization
Conduct phone calls, deliver comprehensive patient and family education, lead nurse-only visits with patients

What you will need:
Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing
RN licensure to practice in Wisconsin upon hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers CPR certification
Obtain CBN certification when eligible
Ideally, at least one year of RN experience
Passion for this patient population, possibly with a personal connection to the work
Intellectually curious with a desire to grow and learn to best serve our patients
