St Luke’s interns support the network by using their knowledge and talents to bring new ideas, creative solutions and technical skills to a variety of projects and task assignments. Assist with developing and executing sports marketing initiatives, including social media content creation, photography and videography, and large-scale event coordination for St. Luke’s Sports Medicine.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Support a department’s goals by providing assistance, ideas and solutions  

  • Assist with sports marketing initiatives for St. Luke’s Sports Medicine

  • Work independently to complete tasks by assigned deadlines 

  • Collaborate with a team to work on projects and group based problem solving

  • This position will be in-person, split between our Sports Medicine facilities and off-site at large-scale events

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Contribute to the development of social media content, including creating, scheduling, and posting on platforms like Instagram, Twitter/X, and Facebook.
  • Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos at events, camps/clinics, or promotional shoots.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale sports marketing events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support.

  • Collaborate with the sports marketing team to brainstorm creative campaign ideas that resonate with sports audiences.
  • Support administrative tasks such as research, data collection, and other marketing needs as assigned.
  • Work independently on assigned projects with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Attend meetings and provide support with event-related tasks.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sit up to 7 hours per day; 1 hour at a time.  Stand for up to 10 hours per day; 8 hours at a time.  Walk 6 hours per day; 10 minutes at a time.  Consistently lift, carry and push objects up to 10 lbs.  Occasionally lift, carry and push objects up to 75 lbs.  Transport patients weighing up to 400 lbs. via wheelchair, bed and/or stretcher.  Frequently stoop and bend.  Frequently reach above should level.  Must be able to perceive attributes of an object through touch.  Must be able to hear as it relates to normal conversation, and high and low frequencies.  Must be able to see as it relates to general, near, far, color and peripheral vision.

EDUCATION:

A current college/university student enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Program pursuing a marketing, communications, sports management, or related major.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Familiarity with social media platforms, proficiency in photography/videography, and the ability to edit content using tools like Adobe Premiere or Lightroom. Passion for sports is a plus.

WORK SCHEDULE:

On-site work, 20-30 hours per week, with availability for evenings and weekends during events.
