Job Description

The KUMC School of Nursing is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented student worker to assist with various administrative tasks. This position will support the Kansas Nursing Workforce Center Director by performing fact-checking, managing references, and compiling information to assist with grant applications.

  • Conduct fact-checking for various projects and reports.

  • Manage and organize references for research and grant proposals.

  • Compile and synthesize information to support grant applications.

  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all tasks.

Required Qualifications:

Work Experience

  • Currently enrolled as a student at KUMC.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

Work Experience

  • 1 year of administrative or research experience.

  • Familiarity with grant writing and application processes.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation Statement:

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
